3 Mystic Beings Necklace -- Unicorn, Dragon and Mermaid -- in Sterling Silver
A trio of mystical beings -- a Unicorn, Dragon and Mermaid -- come together in this exceptional fantasy necklace. Each magical figure also represents one of the elements; earth, water and air. Grounded upon the earth a Unicorn prances beneath an ancient tree, from the sea a Mermaid has made a rare trip to shore, while the Dragon crouches ready to take flight into the realm of air. All are on a swirling background representing magical energy.
The dragon, mermaid and unicorn medallions are all approximately the same size, measuring about 7/8 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide. The fantasy creatures necklace is adjustable from 15 - 22 inches, making it great for a variety of body types and necklines -- the different lengths are shown in the photos above. If you need a necklace longer than 22 inches please contact me.
The unicorn, dragon and mermaid necklace is accented with beads, in each section round beads bookend a more rugged, facetted bead. Starting from the left the beads are: round green Canadian Jade, Blue Labradorite, Round Amethyst, Messonite Garnet, Round Pink Kunzite, Andalusite, Round Apatite, green Vassonite. The end of the fantasy necklace is finished with three round stone beads Amethyst, Apatite, and Jade. If you would prefer a different bead selection please contact me, one of the photos show some alternate bead possibilities.

As with all of my work this piece of fantasy jewelry is my original design was created using the lost wax method. I first start by doing a detailed drawing of the fantasy figure. Then I sculpt my design in wax. I start with overall shape and form, then adding detail such as facial features, hair, scales and fins. After the wax sculpture is complete it is cast in sterling silver, excess metal is removed, rough polished, linked together, soldered, patina applied, then completed by a final polish and a coating of Renaissance Wax for a soft satin glow. It is a time consuming process, but one that I thoroughly enjoy. For more detailed information on my wax sculpting and casting process go to www.mysticswan.biz and look at the "Creation Process" and "Wax Sculpting" sections.
Thank you for visiting Mystic Swan and viewing my fantasy jewelry.
