Air Elemental: Prevailing Optimism giclee mystical print and graphite drawing
Air, Earth, Water & Fire are the primary elemental energies that are the foundation for life. Each of these elements bring with them their own unique identity. The air elemental symbolizes intellect, mental intention and connection to universal life force. My drawings depict each of these forces, overlaying them with human figures to further convey an image of the personalities that dwell within, and as a reminder of the importance of the world in which we live.
The perspective of a naturalist combines with a love of fantasy in this ready to frame giclee print. Prints are made by giclee experts using the finest quality materials; including heavy, acid free paper, and archival ink. The original graphite drawing is 16 x 16 inches, full size prints are available as a limited edition of 50 prints, each is hand signed and numbered. The mystical image has a wide boarder for matting and framing. The giclee prints are protected by a Krystal Seal archival bag and sent in a mailing tube.
I approach my work from the viewpoint of a naturalist, combining it with the realm of fantasy. I compose my drawings with great attention to detail, merging images as I draw to Crete a feeling of mysticism. White this graphite drawing is relatively small in scale it took over 100 hours to complete.
